Cream Biscuits
On Sunday mornings our family likes to eat a big hot breakfast after church. I like making things that are quick and easy but hearty. These cream biscuits couldn’t be easier and they are so tender and yummy!ream Biscuits
Cream Biscuits
3 Cups White Whole Wheat Flour
4 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 ¼ Cup Heavy Cream
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and then add the cream. Mix until combined. Place dough on a floured surface and roll out into a rectangle about 1 inch thick. Using a sharp knife, or bench scraper, cut into 12 rectangles. (You can use a biscuit cutter and cut into circles and re-roll the scraps, but I find it easier to cut rectangles.)
Place biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes until slightly browned on top. Serve immediately.
