We are heading into the holidays and life tends to get really busy. It is easy to get overwhelmed. One way to alleviate the overwhelm is to be very intentional about our choices. This means saying no to things that are “good” in order to have time and space for things that are most important.
But what is most important? How do you decide what to focus on first? I have been thinking about this a lot lately and my musings led me to ask “what is your why?” Why are you doing the activities you are choosing? Why am I even here at Feed Your Family Tonight?
When you can think about why, you will be able to put your choices into perspective. It will be easier to say yes to the most important things and no to things that are good, but less important to you.
At Feed Your Family Tonight, I am here to help people improve their lives through food, but more importantly I am here to help build strong families who spend time together at the dinner table. I want my recipes to be simple and approachable. I use my videos to share food knowledge so you can be a better cook. The website is a catalog for you to reference and share recipes and podcast episode. The podcast is designed to inspire and encourage you, to know that you are enough and that feeding your family does not have to be Pinterest perfect.
“When you examine your why… it gives you permission to say yes to the things that are the most important to you and no to the things that are good, but not necessarily as important.”
